Girls, Girls, Girls: 2011 NBA Champions!!!

I am so happy for the Mavericks! The DFW area is on a high this morning! I am usually not a big sports nut but I do love basketball and especially the MAVS!

We went to the Smith's last night to watch the big game. We love Kyle and Brandie's house! It is like being at home....except better. :-) We sat by the pool all evening. We ate, drank and laughed a lot! Amy and Jimmy Hereford were there. We love them!!! (except for the party foul.....JIMMY!!!) ;-)

Today starts day 1 of the 'Challenge'. Tanna Horton is another friend from church. She organizes a weight loss program called the 'Challenge' several times a year. I believe it is primarily ladies from our church. The ladies have had much success so I thought I would join in this round. Tanna is part of the women's ministry team at TCAL. She is a wonderful mother, wife and Christian influence! She will be giving daily advice for the next 6 weeks to keep us all accountable. I can't wait to see everyone's progress! Tanna is even hosting a boot camp at her house in the mornings for those who want a little extra boost! (or a lot)

We have a new pet! Tu-Tu the frog! Mike found it in our tree.

This seems to be the only pet that Halle likes. (I think it is because it cannot touch her)

She insisted on sleeping with the frog. So up on the counter she went. We let her lay there about 15 minutes before taking her to her bed.

Oh yes, we have it an aquarium and all! We have crickets, vitamins and chlorine free water. Just what Mommy needs.....another pet to take care of. I was thinking 6 was enough. (my numbers include children and husband) :-)
